We are located in Šiška, Ljubljana, just outside the city center, near the iconic Kino Šiška and the Aleja shopping center.

WORKSHOPS

We offer a variety of courses and workshops; both wheel throwing and handbuilding.

Regular workshops are mostly visited by the local community and people from Slovenia, that’s why our schedule is written in Slovenian - but don’t worry, we’re happy to see new faces and it’s not a problem for us to switch to English. We recommend using Google translate extension in Chrome (or similar) for better understanding. If you’re still struggling in any way please don’t hesitate to contact us at studio@biskvit.si.

You can also visit us during the day and create by yourself (without a mentor). Look for the option of independent visits (‘samostojno oblikovanje’).

Seasonal workshops are held occasionally and are specially designed for people visiting Ljubljana. You can choose between wheel throwing and handbuilding; at the former you’ll be learning the basics of throwing (Patrick Swayze excluded), learning how to make a simple cup. Handbuilding is working without a wheel, using only our fingers and basic tools. You’ll create your new favourite mug or set for brunch, but you can also paint on bisque fired ceramics. Handbuilt items will be dried, fired and glazed in our studio (that takes a few weeks) and then shipped to your home. Packaging and shipping costs (for EU) are included in the price (additional costs may appear for other countries).
